Elegant Woodwork & Construction is looking for a reliable, motivated and hardworking individual to join our growing cabinet manufacturing team as an Entry-Level Cabinet Shop Labourer.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous construction, carpentry, woodworking, cabinet shop or general labour experience who is looking to build their skills in a professional manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

- Assist with the day-to-day operations of our cabinet manufacturing shop
- Safely handle and move wood, cabinet components, materials and finished products
- Operate hand tools and shop equipment safely after appropriate training
- Assist with sanding, assembly, material preparation and other production duties
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
- Follow company safety procedures and instructions
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
- Work cooperatively with other members of the production team
- Be willing to learn and assist in different areas of the shop as required

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:





- Previous experience in construction, carpentry, cabinet making, woodworking, manufacturing or general labour is an asset
- Cabinet shop experience is an asset but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Must be punctual, dependable and reliable
- Solid communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production priorities
- Positive attitude and willingness to take direction
- Must be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
