Castle Construction is a growing construction company based out of Virden, MB. We're looking for Excavator Operators to work with our water and sewer crews in Manitoba and Eastern Saskatchewan for the 2026 season.

Equipment Positions:

Excavator Operators:

- Responsible for excavation of the mainline trenches
- Ability to excavate pipe on grade in deep cut excavations
- Excavating around live buried facilities
- Excavating safely in congested areas
- Proper bedding and shading of pipe
- Backfill of trenches
- Knowledge of safe excavations for ground crews to enter and complete work
- Experience working with various types of shoring
- Knowledge and ability to complete pre-trip inspections and perform routine daily maintenance on machines
- Experience operating in urban environments

Qualifications/Skills:

- Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment




- Ability to work away from home
- Class 5 driver's license is required
- Must be able to follow directions
- A willingness to learn
- Mainline excavator operators requiring 3+ years of relative experience

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
