We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and motivated Cook to join our food service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking quality meals, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and supporting efficient day-to-day kitchen operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in preparing high-quality food.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, chopping, portioning, and measuring as required
- Ensure food is prepared consistently and meets established quality and presentation standards
- Manage multiple food orders efficiently during busy service periods
- Monitor food preparation, cooking times, and portion sizes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas and equipment
- Follow proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and food safety procedures
- Ensure ingredients and prepared foods are stored properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination
- Assist with inventory monitoring and notify management when kitchen supplies or ingredients need replenishment
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure efficient food service




- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and all applicable food safety requirements

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cook or in a related cooking/food preparation position
- Experience preparing and cooking meals in a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, food handling, and kitchen sanitation
- Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple orders while maintaining food quality and consistency
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
- Reliable, professional, and able to follow established kitchen procedures
- Minimum NCLC 5 in French speaking and listening
- French-language proficiency must be demonstrated through an accepted language test, such as TEF Canada or TCF Canada
