What You Will Do

- Deliver high-quality, interactive 1-on-1 or small-group online sessions focused on competitive math problem-solving.
- Deconstruct challenging contest problems into intuitive logic models, guiding students through foundational concepts rather than rote formulas.
- Work with pre-built course outlines and materials, adapting lesson pacing to the individual student’s diagnostics.
- Maintain clear, consistent post-class deliverables (lesson notes, assignments, and brief student feedback) in designated student groups within 24 hours of each session.

Who You Are

- Contest Background (Required): Proven personal experience or podium track record in prestigious mathematics competitions (e.g., AMC 10/12, AIME, Waterloo Cayley/Fermat/Euclid, or national Olympiads).




- Teaching Experience (Required): Minimum of 1+ year of dedicated mathematics coaching or 1-on-1 mentoring experience.
- Academic Pedigree: Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field (current university students or recent graduates from top-tier institutions welcome).
- Language Skills: Fluent English proficiency is required; fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is considered a strong asset for bilingual student communication.
- Instructional Style: Highly interactive, diagnostic, and patient—able to guide students through dialogue and shared digital whiteboards without shifting into passive lecture mode.
