Summary: We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant with Canadian Pharmacy experience to become a part of our team at a locally owned and operated Pharmacy! You will assist the Pharmacist in the technical aspects of prescription filling and administrative duties in order to increase the Pharmacist's chance to provide patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Provide prompt and courteous patient services and obtain prescriptions from patients and assess the prescription for completeness.
- Interpret and process the prescription in Pharmacy software (Pharmaclik Rx) accurately and assist in updating patient profile.
- Process third-party insurance claims & trouble shoot.
- Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions.
- Mixing, reconstituting or compounding prescriptions as directed and supervised by the Pharmacist.
- Assist patients at the cash counter & answer phones.




- Order, receive, tag, and stock prescription drugs, supplies and over-the counter products, maintaining clean/safe work environment as part of the team approach.

Experience:

- Canadian Pharmacy experience: 1 year (required).

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
