GlamHaus is looking for freelance hair and makeup artists to join our beauty house-call platform in British Columbia.

GlamHaus connects clients with beauty professionals for at-home and mobile beauty services, including makeup, hairstyling, bridal glam, event glam, photoshoot glam, and special occasion services.

This opportunity is ideal for beauty artists who provide makeup, hairstyling, or both, and want to grow their client base with flexible bookings. As a GlamHaus artist, you can set your own availability, choose your service area, and receive bookings through the GlamHaus platform.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional hair and/or makeup services at clients’ homes, hotels, venues, or requested locations
- Bring your own professional makeup kit, styling tools, products, and supplies
- Create looks based on the client’s event, preferences, and booking details
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Maintain proper hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices
- Arrive prepared and on time for appointments
- Provide a friendly, polished, and high-quality client experience
- Keep your GlamHaus profile, services, service area, and availability updated

Requirements

- Experience providing makeup, hairstyling, or both
- Portfolio or examples of your work
- Ability to travel to clients, hotels, venues, or event locations
- Own professional kit, tools, products, and supplies
- Robust communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently in a mobile beauty setting
- Certification, training, salon experience, or bridal experience is an asset
- Liability insurance is preferred or may be required
