We are hiring a Program Supervisor for our Personalized Community Care Program based in Lethbridge.
About the position:
Under the supervision of the Programs Manager or Director of Services, the Program Supervisor is responsible for overall delivery of services and programs; including staffing, programs and supports for youth and families; data collection and program evaluation; and ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with the funding contracts. They will ensure that goals and objectives of the program are met and that the program is maintained and developed in line with its contract, as well as within the philosophy of McMan Youth, Family and Community Services Association.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct day-to-day intensive case management support and supervision for two Personalized Community Care teams.
- Develop schedules for staff at two 24/7 residences and provide leadership through coaching and mentoring.
- Lead the teams to provide care and supports to youth with behavioral, cognitive, and emotional challenges, including FASD.
- Ensure an effective local presence for McMan with funding bodies, persons served, and the community.
- Be a part of the On-Call rotation for McMan.
- Work in collaboration with employees and the leadership team to enhance the direction and vision of McMan.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Social Work, Child and Youth Care Counselling, Addictions Counselling or related human services field. A combination of experience and education shall be considered.
- Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience.
- Experience working in a group or residential facility.
- Experience working with youth with behavioural, cognitive, and emotional challenges.
- Strengths in crisis intervention, case management, and communication are a must.
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector within the past six months.
- Clear Child Intervention Check dated within the past six months.
- Driver’s Abstract, valid Class 5 Driver’s License, daily use of reliable vehicle and minimum $2M vehicle insurance to carry passengers.
- Standard (or Intermediate) First Aid CPR Level C Certificate.
