Duties
- Support lead teachers in delivering daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Assist with classroom activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Supervise children during structured and unstructured times, ensuring safety and engagement
- Facilitate small group instruction in core subjects such as math, literacy, and arts & crafts
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a positive learning setting
- Support children with special education needs or disabilities by implementing individualized strategies
- Help maintain a clean,
organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
- Classroom experience or background in early childhood education preferred
- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of teaching methods for diverse learners, including those with disabilities or special needs
- Familiarity with basic math concepts and early childhood curriculum development
- Passion for supporting children's development through engaging activities and positive reinforcement
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and support multiple age groups
- ECE/ECEA license is needed
