Job duties:

· Supervise workers who operate and maintain heavy equipment and work on repair projects.

· Coordinate and schedule the work activities of workers.

· Oversee the training of workers.

· Supervise workers engaged in asphalt paving, shoveling, raking, wheel barrel, and sweeping work.

· Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other project supervisors.

· Requisition materials and supplies.

· Resolve conflicts and recommend measures to improve productivity.

· Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions.

Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time.

Wage: $36.06 per hour.

Skills Requirements:

Required education:

o Completion of secondary school is required.

Required work experience:

o A minimum of 5 years of experience in the asphalt labour and paving industry.

o A minimum of 5 years of experience as a supervisor.

o Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training and experience.

o Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.

o Able to work both alone and as part of a team.

o Valuable time management skills.

o Awareness of health and safety procedures.

Pay: $36.06 per hour
