Join our dynamic automotive team at Vernon Tireland as a Permanent Seasonal Tire Technician, where your expertise will drive customer satisfaction and vehicle safety! Duties

- Install, rotate, balance, mount and repair tires efficiently using hand tools and power tools
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation; recommend replacements when necessary
- Ensure accurate torque specifications on all wheel assemblies
- Identify tire wear patterns and assess structural damage
- Perform puncture repairs safely using industry-standard methods
- Lift heavy tires safely during installation and removal, adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain an organized, clean,



efficient, and safe work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use

Qualifications

- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License and clean commercial driving record abstract.
- Previous automotive tire service experience
- Mechanical knowledge of tire technology is highly desirable
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance tasks necessary for tire service
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to lift heavy tires repeatedly while following safety guidelines
- Reliable team player with punctuality.
