We are currently looking for a CNC Programmer to join our Programming team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and programming, with the ability to develop efficient, reliable programs for a variety of components and materials.
This is primarily a programming position, but applicants should have approximately 5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience and a strong understanding of how programs, tooling, setups, and workholding perform in a real machining environment.
Responsibilities
- Create CNC milling programs using Autodesk Fusion 360
- Program 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machining operations
- Program parts from engineering drawings, CAD models, and customer specifications
- Develop effective machining strategies and operation sequences
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters
- Plan setups, fixturing, and workholding methods
- Create and maintain setup sheets and tooling information
- Review drawings and models for potential manufacturing issues
- Support machinists with program prove-outs and troubleshooting
- Modify and optimize existing programs for improved cycle time, tool life, and reliability
- Troubleshoot programming, tooling, workholding, and machining issues
- Maintain organized CNC programs and manufacturing documentation
Experience & Qualifications
- Approximately 5 years of CNC machining experience
- Fusion 360 programming knowledge
- 3-axis and 4-axis CNC programming experience
- Haas CNC machine and control knowledge
- Fixture and workholding design experience
- Fusion 360 CAD modelling experience
- Knowledge of CNC post processors and G-code
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T;
- Strong knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining practices
- Experience programming complex, tight-tolerance components
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who understands the complete machining process and can take a part from drawing or model through to a safe and efficient CNC program.
The ideal candidate should be able to look at a component and determine the best approach for:
- Machining sequence
- Setup orientation
- Workholding and fixturing
- Tool selection
- Speeds and feeds
- Material removal strategy
- Part stability
- Tolerance requirements
- Surface finish requirements
- Machine limitations
The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple programming priorities, and communicating with machinists to resolve issues and continuously improve machining processes.
Position
Full-Time CNC Programmer
Compensation will be based on experience.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
