Job Summary
We are family owned shop seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace. This role involves performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. The Automotive Technician will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service by providing reliable and quality vehicle repairs.

We are open Monday to Friday. NO WEEKENDS

Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair various automotive issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs effectively
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for complex repairs
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues
- Assemble and replace parts as needed, ensuring proper fit and function
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines




- Assist in vehicle assembly or disassembly when required for specific repairs or upgrades
- Support team members with heavy lifting and other physical tasks as necessary

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks safely
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to automotive repair environments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
