Responsibilities

- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision.
- Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling where appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, food prep stations, and utensils in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times.




- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food safety practices throughout shifts.

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Solid cash handling skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate change calculation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic kitchen experience including food safety practices and sanitation protocols.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
- Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn new skills such as upselling techniques and restaurant operations.
