Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our dynamic team. Instrumentation and/or IT skills are an asset. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to guide installation and repair work.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Work with industrial electrical components such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics for automation projects.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete wiring tasks, conduit bending, panel setups, and fixture installations.
- Conduct inspections during renovation or construction projects to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Diagnose electrical issues using technical manuals and diagnostic tools; implement effective solutions promptly.




- Collaborate with other tradespeople on complex projects requiring handyman skills or general construction experience to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

- Valid journeyman/woman electrician license or certification recognized by local authorities.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar electrical role within industrial environments.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical codes applicable in your region.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as pliers, wire strippers, screwdrivers; power tools including drills and saws; and testing equipment.
- Experience working on renovation projects or in construction settings with a focus on electrical installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.

Pay: From $45.00 per hour
