Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to lead and manage our foster care initiatives. In this vital role, you will oversee program operations, coordinate services, supervise staff and volunteers, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your leadership will help empower youth and strengthen families through effective program management and community engagement.

Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in child and youth care, education, recreation or related social service field.

Must have a post secondary diploma/degree in Child and Youth Care or Social Services or a related field.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily program activities to ensure smooth operations and delivery of services to foster youth and families
- Supervise staff, placement students, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations
- Manage program budgets, track expenses, and ensure fiscal responsibility in line with organizational goals




- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance program effectiveness
- Maintain accurate records of case files, service delivery, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with community partners, schools, social services agencies, and other stakeholders to support youth needs
- Monitor program outcomes through data collection and reporting to inform continuous improvement efforts

Skills

- Proven experience in program management within social services or related fields
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks and record keeping
- Budgeting experience to oversee financial planning and resource allocation
- Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude in a dynamic setting
- Ability to manage a modern computer data system
- Ability to form relationships with clients
- Valid G drivers licience
- Ability to demonstrate, role model life skills

Pay: $65,845.00 per year
