Receiver Coffee is a locally owned café/restaurant, bakery and coffee roastery in Charlottetown. A lot of different jobs go into keeping our cafés running well, and dishwashing is an important one.

We are looking for hardworking, reliable people to join the team:

- Milky Way - Part time: 15 Milky Way
- Brass Shop - Fulltime and part-time: 178 Water Street

Our dishwashers keep clean dishes, glassware and equipment, moving where they’re needed throughout the day. You’ll spend part of your shift working independently in the dish area, but you’ll also be moving through the café, putting things away and interacting with coworkers and guests.

This is a busy, physical job, so we’re looking for someone who works hard, stays organized and takes pride in doing the job well.

What you’ll be doing:

- Following food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
- Polishing glassware and cutlery and returning clean items to their proper places
- Keeping the dish area clean, organized and running smoothly
- Cleaning and maintaining dishwashing equipment, including proper shutdown at the end of each day
- Helping organize and put away deliveries
- Sweeping, mopping,



taking out garbage and helping keep shared spaces clean and tidy
- Moving throughout the café to collect and return dishes, including in front-of-house and guest areas
- Jumping in to support the kitchen and café team wherever needed

You’ll be a good fit if you:

- Work well with others and are happy to jump in when a teammate needs a hand
- Are friendly and comfortable interacting with the team and guests

- Can keep a good attitude when things get busy

You don’t need restaurant experience to apply, as we can teach you the job. We’re much more interested in finding someone dependable, hardworking and helpful!
