Security Professional

Location: Dawson Creek, BC

Securiguard Services is currently seeking skilled, reliable, and customer-focused Security Professionals for a temporary full-time assignment in Dawson Creek. We are looking for mature individuals who take pride in their work, demonstrate strong judgment, and are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment.

This assignment offers consistent hours on a long-term project and provides an excellent opportunity to join one of Canada's leading security organizations.

Key Responsibilities

- Control and monitor access to designated areas
- Verify and document authorized personnel and visitors
- Conduct regular patrols and security inspections
- Maintain a professional and visible security presence
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns
- Communicate effectively with staff, visitors, contractors, and the public
- Complete accurate reports, logs, and documentation
- Follow established site procedures and company policies
- Work independently while maintaining a high standard of service
- Support a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at all times

Qualifications

- Valid BC Security Worker Licence




- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer skills and report-writing experience
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous security, customer service, industrial, healthcare, or public-facing experience is considered an asset
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check
