Chilly Dogs keeps dogs warm and comfortable. We manufacture, wholesale and retail dog apparel and accessories. Our customers are as passionate about their dogs as we are. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative understands how important it is to be the first point of contact for our customers — helping them find the right products, sizing, and answers.

This is a hands-on role on a small, hard-working team where everyone pitches in. Dog knowledge is required. If you know and love dogs, enjoy helping customers, and get satisfaction from making someone’s day a little better, you’ll fit right in.

What we offer

What you’ll do

- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and chat — promptly and professionally. On-site customer service on occasion by customer appointment.
- Help customers choose the right products and sizing for their dogs
- Provide accurate information on products, services, and policies
- Process orders and modifications
- Help with order fulfillment, including picking and packing
- Keep customer records accurate through careful data entry
- Spot opportunities to recommend additional products that fit a customer’s needs




- Collaborate with other team members
- Work with teammates to improve how we do things and better serve customers
- Work 1-3 consumer shows/year in Ottawa and Toronto.

What we’re looking for

- A genuine love of dogs and knowledge of different breeds and body shapes
- You enjoy making every customer's day happier by provided outstanding customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English (French is an asset, but not required)
- Comfort learning new computer applications and tools
- Strong organization and the ability to manage your own workload
- Attention to detail, especially with data entry and record keeping
- Calm, effective problem-solving under pressure
- A helpful, confident and positive attitude
- Sales experience is an asset
- Flexibility. Can you handle different paces? Some months are extremely busy, others are moderate, and a few we focus on new projects to improve for the next season.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
