We’re looking for a friendly, professional Nurse Injector to join our team for the 2026 flu and COVID-19 vaccination season. This is a casual, seasonal position perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with patients in a welcoming, community-focused pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities
- Engage with patients to select appropriate vaccines, discuss possible side effects, and obtain informed consent.
- Administer vaccinations by injection (usually IM) according to standards of practice and current guidelines.
- Accurately record vaccination details in IMMSBC.
- Maintain current knowledge of influenza and COVID-19 vaccines, including public eligibility and drug information.
- Assist with managing vaccine and injection supply inventory.
- Ensure secure, effective, and compassionate care for all patients.
- Follow all regulatory, departmental, and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Licensed LPN, RN, or RPN, in good standing with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Injection Certification and completion of BCCDC Immunization Competency Courses.
- Standard First Aid / CPR Level C with AED certification.
- Experience with IMMSBC is an asset (or equivalent flu/COVID vaccine experience).
- Trained in emergency response to anaphylaxis (EpiPen use).
- Comfortable vaccinating patients aged 4 years and older (and intranasal administration for ages 2+ preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently while supporting a collaborative team.
Schedule
- Clinics run October through December, with possible extension into January based on demand.
- Shifts are 10am–5pm at Airport Village Pharmasave only.
- Flexible scheduling available within that time frame to suit your availability.
