JOB POSITION

Special Electronics & Designs Inc. is seeking a Production Assembler to join our team in an existing vacancy.

Your attention to detail is required to solder and manually assemble various electronic components on PCB (printed circuit boards), and/or install, mount, fasten, align and adjust parts, components, wiring and harnesses to sub-assemblies and assemblies. A keen eye is needed to check final assembly for finish, labeling and packaging methods. Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications is an asset.

The employer does not use any artificial intelligence to screen, assess, or select applicants for employment screening.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manually assemble various electronic components on PCB
- Operation of automatic and semi-automatic machinery
- Assemble components, assemblies, and products
- Submit product to inspection at the specified times
- Manage product tracking sheets, time sheets, etc.
- Observe all safety rules and work in accordance with ISO Quality Programs

EDUCATION

- Minimum high school diploma with a good understanding of the English language.

EXPERIENCE

- Two years minimum experience in Manufacturing Assembly and PCB Assembly; or,




- Demonstrated skill in the use of hand tools; or hobbies which require similar manual dexterity.
- Exposure to machine shop skills an asset, i.e., hand power tools, metal lathes, drill press, milling machine, forklift
