Summary:

The ECCO Night Security will be working in all of ECCO’s divisions. They are expected to be able to demonstrate leadership skills while working with a crew, as well as, exhibit a strong safety focused attitude. Flexibility in work hours will also be expected with this position.

This individual will have the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic and growing team of individuals and will have the opportunity to work in numerous areas of a landfill and recycling facility.

Job Duties:

· Pick litter from all green/ mulched areas as necessary.

· Patrol all areas of 10114 24th St. S.E. property

· Check Landfill working face for signs of fire.

· Escort after hours customers.

· Check MRF for signs of fire, and water leaks

· Maintain MRF boiler

· Check Chips for signs of fire, and water leaks

· Maintain Chips boiler

· Patrol RV fence lines and road ways

· Check in with the work alone button every hour





· Maintain Security truck

· Fill out security log

Requirements

· Previous knowledge/ experience with security systems required.

· 2 years of direct work experience in security

· A solid understanding of security techniques

· Effectiveness in safety and productivity

Work Conditions

· Physical ability to lift up to 50lb

· Hazards associated with the trade

· 12 hour shifts four on, four off

Reports to: Landfill Shift Supervisor / Landfill Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
