Hi-Kalibre is looking for a Stamping Inspection Worker to join our operations in Edmonton, Alberta. The Stamping Inspection Worker is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring stamping and engraving presses to manufacture metal components that meet production schedules and quality standards. This role requires safely operating equipment, performing routine inspections, and ensuring parts are produced accurately and efficiently. The incumbent is also responsible for the adhering to all company Policies and Procedures.

Role Responsibilities:

- Perform and inspect stamped parts throughout the manufacturing process using approved inspection methods.
- Maintain accurate identification and full traceability of manufactured parts throughout the stamping process.
- Verify part numbers, serial numbers, heat numbers, and other traceability information before and after stamping.
- Complete stamping records and associated documentation to ensure product traceability.
- Use calibrated measuring equipment for inspections and basic dimensional requirements, as required
- Operate, maintain, and keep stamping equipment clean and in positive working condition.
- Assist with final inspection, receiving inspection, and other quality inspection activities when required to support production and customer
- Participating in Quality Audits, HSE Audits and Toolbox Meetings.




- Generating and issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s)
- Ensuring proper disposition prior to releasing NCR’s.
- Completing job forms as required by our quality program including QC sheets, serial number tracking forms, etc.
- Completing compliance and enforcement of all Quality System
- Procedures and Health, Safety and Environmental Systems and Programs.
- Any other duties as directed by the Foreman or Director.

Role Requirements:

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years Quality Management System exposure, training and or Education
- Experience as QC Inspector in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
- Experience in metal stamping or fabrication is considered an asset.
- Knowledge and exposure to API Thread Inspection Techniques are considered as an asset.
- Practical Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gage, Thread Gages etc. considered as an asset.
- Understanding of technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.

Training & Physical Demands:

- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, reach and some lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to use an Overhead Crane. Training or experience required.
- Forklift Operator Training may be required.
- Narrow Aisle Reach Operator Training may be required.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Training is required.
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Training is required.
- HR/HSE Orientation is required.
