Overview
We are seeking a Machinist assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience. As a Machinist assistant, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, saw , and ensuring the highest quality of manufactured parts. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work collaboratively in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

- Operate CNC lathes and milling machines according to specifications.
- Set up and operate saw.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed for assembly tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machining issues and optimize production processes.




- Safely operate forklifts for material handling within the manufacturing facility.

Experience

- Proven experience in machining, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC milling machines and lathes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency is a plus.
- Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour
