POSITION: Permanent Full-time

DATE AVAILABLE: November 2026

SHIFT: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM

SALARY: $41.15 to $58.98 + Full advantages package, including pension, health/dental, vacations

Up to $5000 in relocation assistance is available for this position. Interim housing is available to help facilitate a smooth transition.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Graduate of a recognized School of Nursing.

· Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

· Experience in all areas of Nursing Practice would be an asset

· Current certification in CPR

· Current certification in ACLS, NRP and TNCC would be an asset

· Leadership experience would be an asset

· Certification or willingness to obtain required Certification of Infection Control within one year of being in the position

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for planning, controlling, coordinating and directing the delivery of patient care through Outpatient Clinics, including but not limited to: Telemedicine Clinic, Chemotherapy Clinic. This position also assumes the roles and duties of the Occupational Health Nurse and the Infection Control Professional for the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital. RLMCMH is an 18 bed facility located in beautiful, rural Northwestern Ontario. We offer 24 hour emergency care, acute & chronic care, obstetrics, oncology,



diagnostic services, rehabilitation, and a variety of day clinics. Nurses at RLMCMH will gain interdisciplinary experience in our ED, acute care, and chronic care wings. The Registered Nurse position is an ONA position. Rural nursing is an excellent opportunity to gain interdisciplinary experience and clinical knowledge!

The community of Red Lake is home to approximately 5000 residents. The primary industries include mining, tourism, and forestry. The town is approximately a 3 hour drive from Kenora and a five hour drive from Winnipeg.
