Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our veterinary team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with both people and animals and can provide excellent customer service in a busy clinical environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and client questions.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
- Check clients and patients in and out.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records.
- Process payments, invoices, and other financial transactions.
- Communicate appointment and treatment information to clients.
- Coordinate with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff.
- Handle prescription requests and medication pickups as directed.
- Address client concerns professionally and refer medical questions to veterinary staff.
- Assist with administrative tasks, filing, data entry, and inventory support.
- Follow clinic policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.




- Ability to triage medical cases over the phone
- Compassionate and comfortable working with animals and their owners.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced veterinary environment.
- Professional phone and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
- Ability to accurately handle payments and financial transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a veterinary team.
- Calm, patient, and professional when handling difficult or emotional situations.
- Previous veterinary, medical reception, administrative, or customer service experience required.

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

- Veterinary Reception: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (required)
