SoftPaw Studios is an event-based wellness company creating unique yoga, Pilates, and movement experiences that bring people together while supporting our partnering kitten rescue and helping kittens find their forever home. Our signature events combine pilates and some very cute four-legged friends.
As we continue to grow, we’re expanding beyond Pilates and introducing yoga experiences to our community. We’re looking for passionate, reliable Yoga Instructors to join our growing instructor network and lead classes, pop-ups, private events, and corporate wellness experiences.
The Opportunity
This is a contract-based position designed to give instructors flexibility while providing an opportunity to build their own clientele, gain event experience, and earn income through classes and events.
Responsibilities
- Lead safe, engaging, and beginner friendly yoga classes
- Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled classes
- Provide a welcoming, positive, and skilled experience for participants
- Demonstrate proper form, provide modifications, and offer appropriate guidance
- Help create an upbeat and community-focused atmosphere
- MUST LOVE CATS!
What We're Looking For
- Certified Yoga Instructor with a recognized yoga teacher training certification
- Previous teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication and people skills
- Comfortable teaching groups of different sizes and experience levels
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Energetic, approachable, and community-minded
- Passionate about wellness, movement, and creating memorable experiences
- Comfortable working independently in a contract-based environment
