Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support the cooking process
- Cook and prepare meals according to established recipes and safety standards
- Handle food safely by maintaining proper hygiene, storage, and sanitation practices
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or staff in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Support the team in managing inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed




- Follow all food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times

Experience

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards in a commercial kitchen environment
- Experience in meal preparation, cooking, or assisting in a busy kitchen setting is advantageous
- Knowledge of food industry best practices related to cleanliness, safety, and quality control
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues and delivering excellent service
