Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. Your role will involve managing patient appointments, handling phone calls, and maintaining electronic medical records.
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental office software (Progident)
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Verify insurance coverage and process patient payments
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and update patient information as necessary
- Coordinate with dental hygienists, assistants, and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Follow office protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist
- Proficiency in using dental office software (Progident) is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a quick-paced environment
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
- Proficient in using electronic medical records systems
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
