TITLE: Parts Advisor / General Labor

REPORTS TO: Store Manager

DEPARTMENT: Collision Department

JOB SUMMARY

The Parts Coordinator plays an extremely important role in the safe and efficient repair of our customer’s vehicle. He/she is the lead in ordering and receiving parts and is involved in the repair planning of each vehicle appraisers and estimators. Skills in parking lot organization and general shop clean up.

- ACCOUNTABILITY & RESPONSIBILITY OF POSITION
- Receiving of parts for each car
- General shop clean up
- Lot attendant
- General help

- Mirror matching parts to ensure ideal fit
- Matching of purchase orders with invoices




- Dealing with vendors on incorrect parts (refunds, re-delivery)
- Posting of parts on our shop management system
- Scanning all invoices into repair orders
- Part tagging and organizing of parts with each vehicle
- Effectively communicating with technicians, appraisers, finance, and management
- General physical skills – lifting up to 30 pounds, standing, sitting, walking, reaching
- Must have valid license
- Shuttle driver/move vehicles on occasion
- Help with lock up daily
- Keep work area clean and organized
