ABOUT US:

DIRECT LUMPER SERVICE is a full time lumper service operating throughout the GTA. We service the warehouse industry by loading and off loading product on containers and trailers by hand. We build the product onto pallets or off the pallets and onto the containers so that the flow of product can be maintained by the warehouses we service.

Job description:

Physically moving freight, be it boxes or bags we palletize and shrink wrap product and stage on the warehouse floor for receivers to put away. We are looking for individuals to work in the Milton & Guelph regions. We need quality workers who have done this type of work before and can handle heavy products as well as a rapid paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Load / unload products manually off of containers, trailers or repalletize skidded product.




- Keeping track of correct piece count and weight and verifying information with paperwork
- Notify Supervisor of any piece count discrepancies, damaged or defective freight
- Load/unload freight carefully to avoid damage
- Label freight accurately when needed
- Comply with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures of the warehouses entered

Qualifications:

1. Lumper experience ( highly regarded, not required)
2. Ability to drive or commute to jobs
3. Steel toe boots
5. High-vis vest
6. Ability to lift over 50lbs

Pay: $160.00-$300.00 per day
