Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled HVAC Mechanic to join our energetic maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across various facilities. Duties

- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air handlers, chillers, boilers, and ventilation units to ensure reliable operation.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting, drainage, and water supply connections.
- Conduct welding repairs on metal components of HVAC equipment and ductwork as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Inspect boilers and other mechanical systems regularly to prevent failures and optimize performance.
- Carry out appliance repairs related to HVAC components like thermostats, sensors, pumps, and valves.




- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts used for compliance and reporting purposes.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system installation and repair.
- Proficiency in plumbing techniques relevant to heating and cooling systems.
- Ability to weld metal parts using various welding techniques for durable repairs.
- Familiarity with boiler operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
- Skilled in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical drawings for troubleshooting.
- Experience with appliance repair related to HVAC components such as thermostats or pumps.
- Construction experience is a plus for installing or modifying ductwork or mechanical systems.

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
