Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Field Water Treatment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing portable water treatment systems at construction sites. This hands-on position requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate specialized equipment. Experience with water treatment systems and site-specific challenges is a plus.
Duties:
- Installation: Efficiently install portable water treatment systems at construction sites, ensuring systems are set up according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshoot issues with water treatment systems. Perform repairs as needed to ensure systems operate at peak efficiency.
- System Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance and water quality to ensure compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards.
- Client Communication: Provide clear and professional communication with clients regarding system operation, maintenance schedules, and any issues that arise. Offer training on system use as needed.
- Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to water treatment systems promptly to minimize downtime and ensure consistent water quality.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of service activities, maintenance, repairs, and system performance. Prepare and submit reports as required.
- Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on construction sites. Ensure that all equipment is used safely and that work areas are kept clean and organized.
- System Calibration: Adjust and calibrate water treatment systems to meet operational and performance standards.
- Equipment Handling: Safely transport and handle tools and equipment needed for system installation and maintenance.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency service requests promptly, addressing urgent issues with water treatment systems as needed.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and supplies, ensuring that necessary components are on hand for efficient service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in water treatment systems or a related field is preferred. Experience with portable systems for construction sites is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair water treatment equipment.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications or licenses in water treatment or mechanical systems are advantageous.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address and resolve issues efficiently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry equipment, work in various environmental conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
- Driving: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
