We are a well-established and growing furniture installation company, proudly serving the Ottawa and Gatineau region for over 30 years. Our team specializes in delivering and installing high-quality office furniture for both commercial and residential clients. We’re currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Truck Helper to join our team and assist with our delivery and installation operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading product, including skids, boxes, and furniture items (chairs, desks, etc.)
- Use pump trucks, dollies, and other equipment to move items safely
- Support the delivery team during on-site furniture installations
- Travel throughout the Ottawa/Gatineau area for deliveries and installations
- Use basic hand tools to assist in furniture assembly and installation
- Maintain a clean and organized truck and job site
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Ability to lift 40 lbs or more regularly
- Comfortable using hand tools and moving equipment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Ability to work in a quick-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must be eligible to obtain security clearance (government or private sector site access may be required)
- Valid driver’s license is an asset but not required
- Previous experience in delivery, warehousing, or furniture installation is an asset but not required
