I am looking for sports/hockey videographers to film hockey games in the Greater Toronto Area for the up-coming 2026-2027 OJHL season.

Season runs from September to end of February, with the playoffs lasting up to 2 months afterwards.

You will need to film the entire hockey game, which will also be a live broadcast (one camera shoot) and transfer the footage for editing afterwards.

This is a paying gig.

REQUIREMENTS:

- HD Camera (camcorders are strongly preferred, no cinema cameras, certain DSLR's may not work for this)

- A fluid tripod head for your camera

- Clean HDMI output or Clean SDI output with SDI to HDMI converter

- Minimum of 1 XLR input for one microphone (play-by-play and/or colour commentators) [this can be any type of microphone] 2 XLR inputs with 2 microphones would be ideal

- Previous sports/hockey experience would be an asset

- Ability to set-up the broadcast encoder (this will be provided) and have some technical and troubleshooting knowledge

- Ability to set-up iPhone's and iPad's (this will be provided) for Video Goal Review and ensure all videos feeds are active

- Take notes throughout the game when goals and other key moments occur and send those notes and footage to the editor





- Reliable car or willingness to take public transit and commitment for the game you are filming

- Willingness to travel within the GTA

Games are usually in the evenings on weekends with some weekday games and would require about 3-4 hours at the rink.
