JOB DESCRIPTION: Assistant Housekeeper Manager | Room Attendant

REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assistant Housekeeping Manager | Room Attendant are required to ensure quality control and cleanliness of hotel rooms, hallways, patios, changerooms, washrooms, meeting rooms and general cleaning of the facility and all other job-related duties including training and mentoring new and current associates.

HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintain quality control of cleaning procedures within the building

· Report any necessary repairs and maintenance requirements to the Housekeeping Manager and Maintenance Department

· Visually inspect all rooms to ensure quality control standards are maintained

· Maintain current training expectations through our online models.





· Recommend upgrades as required to the facility

· Be a positive role model and motivator to all associates within the facility respecting our Core Values.

· Must be available to work weekends and holidays with flexible working hours based on the seasonality of the business.

· Complete all required on the job training programs related to Health and Safety and WHIMS

· Work hand in hand with our Housekeeping Manager and delegate responsibilities when Housekeeping Manager is not on site.

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour

Experience:

- housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
