Dr. Vetamin Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Hospital is an independent, veterinarian-owned 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital in Ottawa seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our growing team.

This position is designed for a veterinarian who enjoys emergency medicine but also wants to develop advanced clinical skills and take the next step in their career.

We provide the equipment, caseload, mentorship, and opportunity to develop skills beyond routine emergency practice.

- Abdominal ultrasonography
- AFAST/TFAST

You will have the opportunity to work directly with experienced emergency veterinarians and veterinary specialists, with mentorship available in toxicology, emergency medicine, diagnostic imaging, surgery, and endoscopy.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $128,000 CAD

Additional compensation and benefits include:

- 20% production commission after 4× base production

Compensation may be adjusted based on experience and clinical capabilities.

What We're Looking For

Applicants must have:

- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- Eligibility for an unrestricted licence to practice veterinary medicine in Ontario
- Minimum 1 year of emergency veterinary experience in North America
- Ability to independently manage common emergency presentations and hospitalized patients
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
