About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Field Tire Repair Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in commercial or heavy-duty tire repair and maintenance. This position requires robust problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently in the field, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform on-site tire repairs, replacements, and inspections for company and customer equipment.
- Diagnose tire issues, including tread wear, leaks, and damage.
- Mount, balance, and install tires on commercial vehicles and trailers.
- Maintain tire inventory, track usage, and ensure proper documentation of all service work.
- Conduct regular safety checks on tires and related components.
- Operate company service truck safely and maintain clean, organized work areas.




- Communicate effectively with dispatch, maintenance, and operations teams.

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 years of experience in tire repair or heavy-duty truck service.
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5 or higher; commercial license an asset).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage field service calls efficiently.
- Familiar with tire changing tools, hydraulic jacks, and torque equipment.
- Safety-focused mindset with knowledge of safe lifting and repair procedures.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and respond to after-hours service calls as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
