About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Dental Equipment & Machine Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of dental laboratory equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring that milling machines, porcelain furnaces, 3D printing equipment, curing units, compressors, and related production machinery operate efficiently and reliably.

The successful candidate will work closely with Production, CAM, CAD Design, and Quality teams to minimize downtime, maintain equipment performance, and support uninterrupted workflow throughout the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform preventative maintenance on dental laboratory equipment, including:

- CAD/CAM milling machines
- Porcelain furnaces and ovens
- 3D printers and curing units
- Compressors and vacuum systems
- Polishing and finishing equipment

· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.

· Conduct regular machine inspections and document maintenance activities.

· Coordinate equipment servicing, repairs, and warranty claims with manufacturers and vendors.

· Install, calibrate, and test new equipment.

· Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.

· Maintain spare parts inventory and order replacement components as required.

· Assist with equipment-related training for employees.





· Ensure equipment operates in accordance with safety and manufacturer specifications.

· Respond promptly to equipment failures to minimize production downtime.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

· Previous experience as a maintenance technician, equipment technician, machine technician, or industrial maintenance professional.

· Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.

· Solid knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.

· Experience with CNC machinery, milling equipment, furnaces, manufacturing equipment, or dental laboratory equipment is an asset.

· Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and troubleshooting guides.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Strong organizational and documentation abilities.

· Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance tracking systems.

· Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
