Summary
We are seeking a skilled Tractor Operator to join our team in Stittsville and Carp. This role is crucial for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal during the winter season, contributing significantly to our commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate a John Deere tractor and blower safely and efficiently during winter conditions.
- Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely snow removal from client properties.
- Maintain transparent communication with supervisors regarding weather conditions and operational needs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on the job.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and equipment used.
- Be on-call from November 1st - April 15th including weekends and holidays
- Interact with company software
Qualifications
- Valid G license with a clean driver's abstract required.
- Previous experience operating tractors or other heavy equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in the snow removal industry is an asset.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to snow removal equipment is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation to our yard.
Compensation
- Starting at $9000 for the season.
- Potential for higher starting salaries for experienced snow removal operators.
