Position Summary

Victory Reproductive Care (VRC) is seeking a compassionate, highly organized, and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing fertility team. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys combining procedural care with ongoing patient relationships while supporting individuals and couples through one of the most meaningful journeys of their lives.

The Fertility Nurse plays a key role in delivering exceptional patient care throughout fertility treatment, including intrauterine insemination (IUI), and in vitro fertilization (IVF). Working collaboratively with physicians, embryologists, and the multidisciplinary care team, this position is responsible for clinical procedures, patient education, cycle monitoring, and ensuring an outstanding patient experience from consultation through treatment.

Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate strong clinical skills, a passion for women's health, and a desire to specialize in reproductive medicine.

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Clinical Coordination

- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care throughout fertility treatment.
- Guide patients through IVF, IUI, and other fertility treatment plans.
- Educate patients regarding medications, treatment protocols, procedures, and expected outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate clinical updates with physicians and the care team.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns by phone, email, and electronic medical records.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.

Clinical Procedures

Perform fertility-related procedures including:





- Intrauterine Inseminations (IUI)
- Antibiotic washes
- Saline Infusion Sonohysterograms (SIS)
- Fertility-related swabs
- Injections and patient injection teaching
- Provide conscious sedation
- Other fertility nursing procedures within scope of practice

Fertility Cycle Monitoring

- Assist with monitoring medicated fertility cycles.
- Understand fertility medications and treatment protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians regarding cycle progression and treatment planning.
- Coordinate laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, and patient scheduling.

Obstetrical Support

- Provide obstetrical nursing support when operationally required.
- Assist with early pregnancy monitoring and related patient care as needed.

On-Call Responsibilities

- Participate in the nursing on-call rotation outside regular business hours.
- Respond to urgent patient concerns and physician requests.
- Support time-sensitive fertility treatments requiring after-hours coordination.

Weekend Participation

- Opportunity to participate in VRC's weekend casual nursing pool.
- Weekend work is compensated separately through established procedure-based pay.

QualificationsRequired





- Current registration in positive standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Registered Nurse (RN) designation.
- BLS/ACLS
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Comfortable learning complex fertility treatment protocols.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
