EXCAVATOR OPERATOR – Earthworks Construction

WCL is looking for an experienced Excavator Operator who can run equipment safely, efficiently, and with precision. If you know how to dig clean, read ground, and keep production moving, we want you on our crew.

WHAT YOU NEED

- 3–5+ years experience operating an excavator in heavy civil construction
- Robust skills in cutting to grade, bulk excavating, loading trucks, etc.
- Experience on 20 tonne up to 80 tonne excavators
- Able to complete daily machine inspections and basic maintenance
- Good depth control and ability to read plans, stakes, and grades
- Safety-focused with strong job site awareness
- Willing to work long hours in all weather conditions
- Team player with clear on-site communication
- Able to adapt and problem-solve when conditions change




- GPS and machine control experience is an asset

REQUIRED TICKETS

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- WHMIS & CSTS 2020 (or willing to obtain)

SCHEDULE

- 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
- 12 days on / 2 days off (every second weekend off)
- Weather dependent work
