General Labour / Press & Machine Operators

Location: St. Thomas, ON
Job Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
Pay Rate: $20.60/hour + Shift premium on Afternoons or Nights
Shifts: Various shifts available

Job Summary

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated General Labourers, Press Operators, and Machine Operators to join a busy manufacturing team in St. Thomas. These positions offer an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous manufacturing experience, as well as individuals looking to develop their skills in a production environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate presses, machinery, and production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials and components as required.
- Perform general labour and production duties throughout the facility.
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet production standards.
- Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and established production processes.
- Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Meet daily production and quality targets.
- Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Previous manufacturing, production,



press, or machine operating experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Positive hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
- Reliable transportation to St. Thomas is an asset.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
