We are hiring an energetic, reliable, and responsible Bartender to join our team at Poseidon Greek Restaurant & Bar in Langley.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent service, keeping the bar organized and well stocked, and supporting the team to ensure smooth service. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes initiative, and is comfortable working independently in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and professionally.
- Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable customer service to guests.
- Take and serve food orders at the bar when needed.
- Take responsibility for keeping the bar clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout each shift.
- Monitor bar inventory and stock levels, identify what is needed, and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Ensure the bar area is properly set up and ready for service.
- Follow responsible alcohol service practices and restaurant standards.
- Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Take initiative and assist the team wherever needed during busy periods.
- Maintain a professional, positive,



and welcoming attitude throughout the shift.

Requirements

- Serving It Right certificate is required.
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Responsible, dependable, and able to take ownership of your duties.
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while also supporting the team.

Schedule & Availability

Flexible availability is an important requirement for this position.

Shifts are mostly evenings and weekends, and we are looking for someone who is able to work a flexible schedule based on the restaurant's needs.

Strong evening and weekend availability is preferred. Candidates who are flexible and available to pick up additional shifts when needed are highly valued.
