Sawlor Built Homes is looking for an experienced, skilled Carpenter / Service Technician to join our team.

We are looking for a well-rounded carpenter with strong new home construction experience and the ability to take on a wide variety of work. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, is a strong problem-solver, and is comfortable working independently.

The right person will have the experience and versatility to move confidently between service and warranty work, finishing details and active custom home construction.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Complete detailed service, deficiency and warranty work in finished homes
- Assess and troubleshoot issues and determine appropriate repairs and solutions
- Perform a variety of carpentry work on custom new home construction projects
- Complete framing, blocking, installation, finishing and general carpentry tasks
- Work independently and alongside our construction team and trades
- Work respectfully and professionally in completed and occupied client homes
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, trades and team members
- Maintain clean, organized and professional jobsites
- Maintain the high standard of workmanship expected on Sawlor Built Homes projects

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Several years of hands-on carpentry and new home construction experience
- Solid knowledge of residential construction from framing through finishing




- A versatile skill set and the ability to confidently handle a wide range of carpentry, repair and finishing tasks
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently, manage tasks and see a job through to completion
- Professional and respectful when working in clients' homes
- Reliable, organized and dependable
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Own basic carpentry tools
