COSCO SHIPPING is one of the major ocean carriers in the world. COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Canada) Inc. (headquarter) is located at downtown Vancouver, Suite 1805 – 1055 Dunsmuir Street, Vancouver, BC V7X 1K8. We have an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk who will be responsible for supporting the accounting department by performing a variety of clerical and accounting tasks. This role includes maintaining financial records, processing transactions and uploading invoices to the internal operation system.

This is an entry level, full time union excluded position based on 37.5 hours per week in the Accounting Department.

Job Responsibilities

- Process all incoming and outgoing invoices efficiently.
- Create high-precision invoices for clients, ensuring all financial entries are correct.
- Investigate and swiftly resolve billing errors or account discrepancies.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and payments.
- Prepare and distribute account statements to customers.
- Provide administrative and transactional support to team members as needed.

Qualifications/Skills

- Completion of post-secondary education is a solid asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills




- Strong client-facing skills to handle diverse billing inquiries
- High proficiency in data entry, record keeping, and document management
- Attention to details with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while remaining a cohesive team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and can adapt to new and different web-based systems easily
