POSITION DETAILS
BRANCH: Calgary
POSITION: Manager of Human Resources and Administration
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
- 16-20 hours / week with the possibility to increase up to 40 hours depending on candidate and workflow
- Flexible schedule to be - discussed
- Starting wage of $30/hour
- Annual performance based bonuses

EXPERIENCE:
- Management of Human Resources (e.g. recruiting, hiring, orientation,
performance management, terminations, document management)
- Processing payroll through ADP
- Management of accounts payable (experience with QuickBooks is a benefit but not required)
The manager of Human Resources is responsible for leading and executing the organization’s talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR Administration functions. This role oversees recruitment activities, manages onboarding and employee lifecycle process through ADP, and administers accounts payable processes using Dext, Plooto and QuickBooks. This position ensures efficient day-to-day administrative and financial operations
Key Responsibilities - Human Resources
Manage full cycle recruitment for all company positions
Create post and maintain job advertisements on Indeed and other recruitment platforms
Screen applicants, and coordinate second interviews with managers
Manage all onboarding activities through ADP
Prepare and process employment documentation, offer letters, employment agreements and current hire paperwork.
Coordinate orientation and onboarding programs for new employees
Maintain accurate employee records and HR data with ADP
Complete setting up of employee benefits
Process employee status changes, terminations, ROE’s
Ensure compliance with employment laws in both AB, and BC
Maintain confidentiality of employee information
Review and process payroll through ADP.
Manage company training program
Key Responsibilities - Accounts Payable
Manage the full AP cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments
Process and code invoices through Dext, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and expense categorization
Review invoice submissions for accuracy, ensuring all invoices have a PO
Manage electronic payment processing through Plooto
Maintain vendor records, banking information and payment terms
Coordinate with managers to ensure proper authorization and coding for expenditures
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve billing or payment issues in a professional manner
Reconcile corporate credit cards weekly, ensuring all transactions have supporting receipts, and are coded correctly
Resolving discrepancies related to credit card expenses
Monitor outstanding credit card transactions and follow up with card holders
Key Responsibilities - Administration
Manage Business Licenses
Manage WCB and other related workers compensation
Manage company fuel card accounts
Other administrative tasks as required
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
