We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and culturally connected News Presenter and Producer to join our vibrant news team. No prior professional broadcasting experience is required! We are happy to train the right candidate; whether you are a recent graduate or someone looking to change careers. If you have a natural presence on camera, a strong command of the Bengali language, and a hunger to learn the ropes of news production, we want to hear from you.

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to learn on the job, showcase your communication talents, and contribute to a trusted news platform committed to excellence.

What You Will Do (With Our Guidance and Training):

- Be the Voice: Present live or recorded news segments in Bengali, bringing energy and professionalism to our viewers.
- Engage with Guests: Host and co-produce interviews, podcasts, and roundtable discussions with analysts, public figures, and community guests.
- Track the News: Stay heavily plugged into Bangladesh's politics, current events, and culture to pitch fresh, relevant story ideas.
- Write & Script: Draft clear, engaging scripts for news stories (we will help you adapt your writing for broadcast).
- Learn Production End-to-End: Collaborate with our experienced producers and editors to learn how to plan newscasts, book guests, and see a story through from an idea to publication.
- Create Digital Content:



Work alongside our video editors to select the best moments for thumbnails and short-form social media clips.
- Ensure Accuracy: Fact-check and proofread content to uphold our high journalistic standards.

What We Are Looking For:

- Language Skills: Fluent proficiency in Bengali (speaking, reading, and writing) is required, alongside good communication skills in English.
- Cultural & Political Fluency: You must be highly knowledgeable and passionate about Bangladesh's current affairs, politics, and social issues.
- Charisma & Confidence: A natural, comfortable, and engaging presence on camera. You don't need to be polished yet, just confident and willing to practice!
- Eagerness to Learn: No prior professional experience is necessary, but a coachable attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to handle tight deadlines are essential.
- Baseline Writing Ability: Strong attention to detail with the ability to write explicit and concise narratives.
- Low-Barrier Video Pitch: Instead of a professional showreel, please submit a short 1- to 2-minute video shot on your smartphone. Introduce yourself, tell us why you love news, and briefly report on a recent news story in Bengali. Show us your personality!
