About the Opportunity

A growing, privately held company is seeking an organized and dependable Accounting & Administrative Assistant to join its team.

This is a diverse, hands-on position providing support across accounting, administration, and general business operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable learning new systems, and willing to assist wherever needed within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide general support with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Enter and maintain accurate information in the company’s accounting system.
- Assist with invoicing, payments, account follow-ups, and recordkeeping.
- Support account reconciliations and routine month-end activities.
- Organize and maintain financial and administrative documentation.
- Respond to general customer and vendor inquiries.
- Assist with expense reporting and other accounting-related tasks.
- Prepare correspondence, forms, reports, and internal documents.
- Maintain organized electronic filing systems and company records.
- Coordinate signatures, approvals, and document distribution.
- Assist with meeting coordination and general administrative duties.
- Support the accounting and leadership teams with special projects as required.
- Perform other related duties based on the needs of the organization.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, office administration, or a related role.
- Post-secondary education in accounting, business administration, or a related area is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.




- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, dependable, and able to handle confidential information.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as the company grows.

Compensation and Benefits

- Competitive compensation of $25.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Employer-paid extended health and dental coverage after 90 days of continuous employment.
