Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio and visual technology, with the ability to maintain and troubleshoot various systems. This role requires mechanical and electrical knowledge, as well as proficiency with hand tools and schematics. The Audio Visual Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of AV equipment for events, meetings, and installations.

Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain audio visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and automation systems.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues to ensure optimal performance of AV systems.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand technical requirements for events.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to prevent malfunctions.
- Utilize hand tools and low voltage techniques for installation and repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in the setup of complex AV systems.
- Provide technical support during events, ensuring all equipment operates smoothly.




- Document all maintenance activities and system configurations for future reference.

Requirements

- Proven experience in audio visual engineering or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with computer hardware.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and electrical components.
- Proficient in software troubleshooting related to AV technology.
- Ability to telecommunicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Experience using hand tools for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $62,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
