Targett's Castle Building Supplies is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

As a Retail Sales Associate, you'll be one of the first people our customers see when they walk through the door. You'll help customers find the right products and solutions for their projects, prepare quotes, complete sales, and help keep our showroom organized and customer-ready.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping people, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed.

What You'll Do

- Greet and assist walk-in customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ask questions to understand customer projects and recommend suitable products and solutions
- Complete sales and front-counter transactions accurately
- Prepare customer quotes and follow up to help move sales forward
- Prepare Supply & Install quotes and assist customers with options available through our Supply & Install Division
- Assist customers with product selection and basic project needs
- Maintain showroom stock and keep displays organized and presentable
- Help coordinate the ordering and replenishment of retail and showroom products
- Keep the retail and showroom areas clean, organized, and customer-ready
- Assist with end-of-day cash-out procedures
- Work with other departments to provide customers with a smooth experience
- Follow company procedures and safety standards

- Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with customers




- Dependable and able to follow through on responsibilities
- Organized with good attention to detail
- Willingness to learn about building materials and the products we sell
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Able to work independently while also being a strong team player
- Previous retail, sales, customer service, or building-material experience is an asset, but we're willing to train the right person
